Sneak Peak... the countdown begins!

Happy Fall Harvest bloggers! Just thought I'd share a quick post to give you some sneak peaks at some of the prims we'll be offering at our open house next weekend. My house is beginning to take on the look of a prim shoppe with goods in every inch of space!

Wax Pantry Cakes are ready to add that little touch of prim to any space in your home. Lots of sizes and shapes and all are scented with brown sugar and clove.

A Christmas Open House wouldn't be the same without some vintage old books depicting the story of Ole' St. Nick

I've been working on some wonderful Colonial style cupboard prints.

Come see what I've done with these old cheese boxes...

And last but certainly not least, my absolute favorite piece that my hubby built...

This beautiful Settle Bench! I instantly was in love with it and after I finished painting and finishing it, I told him I wasn't sure I could sell it. He's promised me that if it sells, he'll make one for me. We'll see..... He's also been busy building more wooden items so be sure to stop by on
Saturday, November 6th from 9:00am - 4:00pm or
Sunday, November 7th from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
If you're interested in coming, please send me an e-mail for more information. We're located in New Gloucester, Maine. Just 30 minutes from Portland and Auburn. You can read more about our open house and see some pictures of our past open houses in the post below.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you next weekend! Hugs & blessings~ Birgit

Holiday Open House Update

So, where have I been these last few weeks you ask? I've been busy, busy working up some prim goodies for our Christmas / Holiday Open House.
Set the date on your calendar for
Saturday, November 6th from 9a.m.-4p.m. & Sunday, Nov. 7th from 9a.m.-2p.m..
As always, there will be warm spiced apple cider and yummy homemade snacks to enjoy while you browse our home filled with prims made by me and my fellow crafting friends. This is our third year that we'll have four homes all within 5 miles of each other so that the holiday gift shopping doesn't end here. You'll be given a map directing you to each of the other ladies open houses as well, including my dear friend Betty, who will have her brand new primitive shop opened! Her shop, Lizzie's Raggs, is as cute as can be so be sure to drop by!! To add to the fun, each home offers their very own door prize so if you visit each home, you'll have your name entered in for four different door prizes!

If you'd like to attend, feel free to send me an e-mail by clicking on the e-mail link in the right column and I'll send more information right out to you.

Now to wet your appetite, I'll post some pictures of our past open houses. Hope you enjoy looking and hope even more that you'll come to visit me. I've so enjoyed meeting up with many blogging friends during our open house and I'd love to meet more fellow bloggers. Hope to see you soon! Hugs~ Birgit
